The Laboratory for Quality Control of Feed and Animal Products within the Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad has 60 years of tradition.
During this period, the laboratory and its experts have made a great contribution to education, science and practice in the field of animal nutrition.
Hundreds of graduated engineers were trained in this laboratory so that a large number of Magisters, Masters, and Doctors of Philosophy have performed researches for their scientific papers and projects. Only in the past 20 years, results obtained in this laboratory have been used in 35 magister and master papers, as well as in 20 PhD dissertations. Scientific works and research containing the results of this laboratory are presented at prestigious scientific conferences in the country and abroad.
Accredited according to the requirements of standard SRPS ISO/IEC 17025:2017
Laboratory was accredited on December 17, 2007. according to SRPS ISO/IEC 17025, by the accreditation body of Serbia (ATS) under the accreditation number 01-206. The Laboratory pays special attention to the quality of its services, and participates successfully in international inter-laboratory testing.
Proper facilities and modern equipment
The laboratory has several lab spaces, which are located at about 300 sqm with a separate room for sample reception and work with clients, sample preparation rooms, space where analytical scales are located, as well as several units in which the facilities for performing analyses are located. The rooms have been recently completely reconstructed and equipped with brand new equipment.
